Excellent sounding speakers for the price. I decided to find a decent set of powered speakers to hook up my subwoofer to. I didn't have room for a receiver so this was necessary. Judging by the specifications and reviews, Edifier headphones tick all the boxes. I like the sound, even without a subwoofer. They produce enough bass that I can live without a subwoofer. I like the extra bass so I'll leave it plugged in. However, I had to buy an RCA to 3.5mm adapter to make it work. The turntable's turntable runs through a compact Pyle preamp. My only complaint is the remote control. The range is too weak. It doesn't work if I'm not within 8 feet of the speakers. They need to fix this as I sit about 15 feet away so getting up to change the volume or mute the sound is very annoying.
