Overall I like it. But take the splitter: It is NOT for the balls, only for the ball pit. Don't just think of it as a ball pit. It can be a lot more so you can use it multiple times which is amazing. PACKAGING Base and side panels are delivered together but separately. Open it as soon as it arrives so it takes shape faster. The base zips together with the sides to become one (and this helps it form a circle faster). SUITABILITY We have German shepherds, so the day before our dogs had flattened and chewed the balls out of the pit (and the balls I found online here, which were reasonably priced, won't arrive for a month or so later). Instead I put all her stuffed animals in it and she loved it. She will throw them all away and sit inside (it has a pillow on the base). For Christmas we are thinking of turning it into a makeshift boat with a sail as she loves to sit in it. You can get creative with it. MATERIAL We have large dogs and dog hair sheds easily. You can simply wipe it with your hands or vacuum it quickly. There are no threads or crosses in the fabric for dog hair to thread through. It is simply placed on top and wiped off. Super soft! You can also remove it with a zipper and wash it if necessary. I want it to be like an oatmeal paint for use in another room.
