This is my second Mount-it product, with my first experience with a 34" LG ultrawide computer display. I recently moved into a new apartment that had a tiny living room with a deep recess behind the wall perfect for a 36 inch CRT TV from c -formats not working. I recently bought a 49 inch Sony TV and weighed almost 30 pounds. I was afraid that a monitor mount solution might not work. However, after seeing other reviews on here, I went to Home Depot to get a 2x4 unit to support the weight of the monitor and install it on top of the 20th century setup we had. I installed a TV and it works great, wouldn't. Trust in extending the TV to the monitor's full range of motion (I'm afraid the weight of the TV just creates too much torque on the support shelf below), but it's able to reliably support the TV at non-extreme lengths. The flexibility of the different connections also means that I can tilt a nearly 50-inch LCD panel 90 degrees. I don't have a reason, but it's nice to know I can :D
