My child loves it. I chose this one over the other brand's version because it could hold two small children and the other brand had many reviews saying a child could barely turn around. It was very easy to assemble, I did it myself until my husband came home from work. And my girlfriend has an older version of the same brand and her third child is still walking and he is about 10 years old. As for age, my son is 15 months old, I got it when he was 13 months old. It depends on your child. Mine started walking at 9 months and was soon climbing and walking. I also like that it's small and light enough to put in our guest room during the winter.
