This is a very thoughtful design, perfect for the beginner or experienced watercolourist. Large water tanks and a fairly easy way to clean brushes with raised fins in the largest tank. The lid is very tight and divided into small cups for mixing/storing paint in small batches. The split lid works like a large mixing area and lid for colors, helping to keep colors consistent. Haven't tried it in the freezer yet, but it's on the horizon for me. I've only used this with watercolors so far, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work with acrylics.
