Not for children who aren't fully potty trained
If you're looking to buy this children's mattress topper, DO NOT. We have a 2 year old boy who uses the potty during the day but has had trouble holding his bladder all night. Most nights are fine. He had 3-4 accidents in about 5 months. So we thought this mattress topper would fit the new mattress WRONG. It only happened once, but the urine leaks out. I would not recommend this case to take something better for this situation. This is normal for adults or older children
