This is not a very strong adapter.

This adapter stopped working for me about 2 months after purchase. It just stopped conducting electricity. It started with my battery flickering on and off every few seconds. I think the metal wires have become kind of intermittent. I solved the problem by buying a different adapter (which was three times the price) which seemed to be sturdier and better protected the metal wires underneath, especially where the wires rounded a corner. The moral of the story is you get what you pay for.
