My new favorite mug

A few years ago, my wife brought home special coffee mugs from a trip to Africa that were just perfect. They held just the right amount of coffee (15 ounces), didn't burn your hand if you put them in the microwave, were dishwasher safe, didn't fade, and felt solid in the hand. When three people used these mugs daily, the inevitable happened. Over time we broke all but one. This led to a competition between us coffee drinkers to be the first to get the last remaining cup out of the dishwasher. It was merciless. For the past year, I've bought mugs to appease this family feud, but none of them have had the same weight or feel, and many of them have either faded from use in the dishwasher, the handles have detached from the mug, or she sucked up water. so much heat in the microwave that you would burn yourself if you held it by the handle after heating it up. So the competition goes on. About a week ago my middle child lost the last one. This solved our competition problem but left us the rest of the cups. So I decided to buy these white mugs from Revain mainly because they weighed 15 ounces and had school style handles. When they arrived, one in the box was broken, leaving only three. But that's the lowest number that can save our family. I contacted the company and they are sending a replacement so no hassle. The mugs are AMAZING. They are very strong and heavy. They hold heat well when pouring a hot drink, but don't turn into molten ceramic in the microwave. They have almost replaced the memory of lost mugs and have quickly become the mugs of choice for our beverages. Dishwasher safe, sturdy and well balanced (I'm not afraid they'll tip over if I accidentally touch them with my hand). over the table), these are high quality mugs made by a great company and I expect to use them for years to come.
