It's very thin and can't just snap into place without feeling like it's about to break. And even when it's in place, I've found that it tends to pop out of a corner or "pop" like it's in place when it's actually not there. My first try was blistered, and when I lifted it a bit to reattach it, the guide came loose in a corner. When I pressed the glass back against the tablet, it actually shattered completely. I didn't even realize it was installed incorrectly, it was so thin but it was enough to break the glass. The second try was perfect as I knew I had to be very careful with the guide. There were no bubbles or dust which is amazing. So I can't say it's complete crap, but on that first try I felt like an idiot for not noticing that the guide itself had moved. some kind of cutout for the power/volume buttons, so on my second try I accidentally turned the tablet on and off just to make sure the guide was seated properly. I didn't even press the power button! It was so thin that it transmitted my squeezing to the entire surface of the tablet. Very annoying.
