Review on Emerson CK5859BL Shower Radio Clock by Derrek Fields

Revainrating 2 out of 5

it would be nice to turn the switch on/off

The last thing I want to do at 4am is fiddle with the timer. and the ONLY WAY to turn it on is to use a timer - this just annoys me. I guess it's not a big deal but I just wanted a basic radio to use in the shower. I'm pretty sure I can turn it off when I'm done. Sure, it would be nice to have an automatic shutoff, but having to "click-click-click" at 4am to turn the damn thing on (instead of flipping a switch) is ridiculously annoying. Yes, the battery compartment can be a little annoying, but it's not impossible - I'm not deducting points for that. Also, it's a lot bigger/bulky than I expected, about 7 inches tall and 4-5 inches wide - no big deal. Finally, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the numbers on the dial don't line up properly, requiring you to place it next to another radio and keep turning the dial to get to your desired station. Again, not a big deal - and luckily for me, I usually only listen to one station. because he might only catch four. I gave two stars because the radio works - and I'm sure I'll get over that once I get into the habit of setting the timer every day. To be honest, I didn't want to go through the hassle of sending it back.
