Exactly what I wanted. I bought 4 of these for my kitchen and they arrived about 3 days earlier than expected. My 14 year old son put them together for me. A piece of cake. All tools come in a box. Yes, I agree that it's a little awkward when leaning your entire body weight forward, but it's fine with normal use. An adult cannot fall onto this seat. Perhaps this is a warning to the restless little children sitting in these seats. The base is really wide so it's pretty solid and VERY comfortable to sit on. I also have it on parquet floors - the base slides easily on the floor. Don't be afraid to scratch hard wood.
