I love everything Apple makes, but the lack of USB and HDMI ports on my work Mac is driving me nuts. This makes using multiple monitors very difficult. Over the years I've used different types of multi-display hubs with PCs and Macs. What I like about this hub: - It plugs into my computer, so no extra cords on my desk - It's powered by my computer, so no extra power cord - Slot count is great - It really works. I have an HDMI port, my USB mouse/keyboard, a power cable (USB-C) and my USB printer connected. Price! Note: You can only connect one display to a Mac hub, sigh, but you still have spare USB-C ports on the non-hub side of the Mac. I only use a direct USB-C to HDMI cable on this site. The ONLY negative I have experienced using this hub is having to drag all my screens back to the correct display after my computer goes to sleep. But I also have to pull one for my USB-C to HDMI adapter, so I don't think it's the hub. It was connected, not working after IOS update. This was a "known" issue for some Macs. The solution was to unplug the Mac's power cord directly from the non-working port, after which the port started working again. It had nothing to do with the hub but at first I thought it was a hub because everything except the power supply stopped working lol.
