Some people warn against using a screen protector. They say that the devices are quite robust and that it is too difficult to install a protector without causing visibility or sensitivity problems. A screen protector doesn't offer any more comfort than knowing that what you're using to remove smudges won't damage the actual device (unless it's wet). A screen protector is unlikely to protect against anything other than permanent markers as you can easily remove the screen protector and will not be able to remove the device's own screen. It won't protect your device's screen if you drop it, but it can protect it from scratches. I tend not to use it anymore. I ordered two packages and did everything suggested to install one first and then the other, but neither install was successful. It was almost indistinguishable from previous products on other devices, which were far from perfect and simple. However, if you think you need a screen protector, this seller (Lucust-US) offers great customer service and got it right when I contacted them. Five stars for them, two stars for screen protectors overall (including this product).
