If they are the best socks for me, why only 4 stars? Well, that funny excess material is just a bit strange and vary from sock to sock. It doesn’t deter me from using them, but I feel the fit would be 10 stars if it wasn’t there. Unlike name brand no show socks, you order these to your shoe size or near it. I have claustrophobic toes and sensitive feet bottoms. These socks provide good stretch without placing a strain on the toes and a smooth feel on the bottom of the feet. There’s no excessive binding from the stitching around the sock opening. The material is thin enough for those of us that would prefer no socks. But to control shoe odor, these are performing well. And the biggest plus is they actually stay up with no adjusting as you go throughout the day. I can’t say how well the launder because I haven’t washed them yet, but I plan to put them in a laundry bag (don’t want them to get lost among the other items). But they should do well. I’ve tried a gazillion socks and these are as close to perfect as I have found to date.
