We took our 2 year old to Cancun in the winter and swam in several natural rivers that stay cool at 72-74 degrees Fahrenheit, this suit is whole during the day over she was surprisingly comfortable all the time, she was warm, the weather poured wet rain non-stop for 6 hours and it didn't bother her at all, snorkeling, she liked it. It worked as advertised. Good fit
