It's cute (how I love retro radios!), I like the button, the sound isn't great but not bad at all for a small radio, and the blue tooth works great. Only requires two D batteries, which was a nice surprise (it also has a cord to plug into an outlet). I can pick up my radio station (a major AM radio station in the Palm Springs area not far from me!) with a so-so noise at night and during the day. My holy grail is finding a retro radio with good AM reception because I like listening to some AM talk programs. The antenna is useless to me - it's for VHF. I know there's a famous radio company that specializes in AM reception, but all of their radios look downright boring (modern black with silver trim). I want something to proudly put on a shelf, a radio that a designer has tried to make stylish. There's no way I can understand why people with rovers on Mars can get clear two-way communications, but I and thousands if not millions of other people in mid-size US communities can't get our local AM radio stations clearly. and sure! (If you don't like AM radio, consider this a five-star rating for what you're otherwise getting at a reasonable price.)
