I bought this iPad mount to record my kids basketball games. It attaches well to the tripod and I really like the bubble level on the top of the mount that helps me line up the shot. The grips are good if you're not using a tripod, and I like how it tucks comfortably in the back. When you put your iPad in the Meloont, be prepared to leave it there as it is DIFFICULT to get it out again. It has become a permanent burden for us. I just bought a screen protector and it's good.
