Review on COWON CK11 True Wireless Earbuds: Premium Dual Mode with 11 Hours Playback - Titanium Black by Sonya Ray

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great sound after tuning.

I found the in-ear headphones sounded different. My Jabra Elite Active 75t and 85t headphones have strong bass. My LGs are light. These Cowons tend to be very light by nature. You can get enough bass with the EQ if you don't like heavy highs - and I find them too bright without adjustment - but I've found that most headphones benefit from an EQ adjustment. Pairing is easy. Just press and hold the button on each earbud until the blue light flashes, scan with your phone and you're there. Interestingly, you get separate related messages for each bud. The package includes rubber ear tips for extra sizes, as well as a USB charging cable. The headphone charging stand/holder is a single part of the box. I like its weight and good loops. It contains a huge amount of energy to recharge your buds. My understanding is you can probably get over 100 hours on top of the 11 hour charge on the earbuds themselves. They advertise over 240 hours of charging in a stand when the earbuds are used in one-ear mode. But who wants to use just one earbud? It seems that these headphones are connected to the phone completely separately. You can use either of them if the other is disabled. I like the sound and the available volume. I had the impression that these headphones are simply inferior to Jabra in terms of quality and wearing comfort. Of course without ANC, which I find overpriced for headphones. If you want ANC Cowon to make a pair for $40 more, this might be worth checking out. Fits well. These are small buds that are not noticeable when worn, but still hold securely. The IPX5 waterproof rating is good, meaning they're safe to use during workouts and in the rain.
