I cannot put into words how glad I am to find this

I cannot put into words how glad I am to have found this. I was looking for something for a couple of weeks before I came across this and was surprised by the price ($54 when I bought it) given the best option I've found before it was $70. Overall it's great value for money and I was pleased with the ease of installation. While the plastic seems a bit flimsy, if you're patient and careful you're good to go. Honestly, one would have to be cruel to break it. The brushes will slip out if you don't put a small piece of painter's tape or tape on the ends, but that wasn't important. Despite what others have said, I squeezed about 6 cables through both plates, the last 2 were tricky but I was able to get them to work. This includes 4 HDMI cables, 1 CAT6e cable, 1 optical cable and 1 Xbox Kinect cable. I read a review that said you can't route the cables with that bulky thing next to the connector, but I routed the Kinect cable and the thing on that connector is massive. Serious. You just have to work it through the plate and be patient. Reasons for 4 stars instead of 5: - The plastic seems a little flimsy, but that's mostly the case with these panels - The paint on the screw heads comes off when screwing the panels to the wall bracket, should come with a wider base plate to match this wider hole in the top plate. As other reviewers have said, I don't think you can unscrew the notch until it touches the wall. stated that the brushes will slip out during installation, so I recommend adding a small piece of painter's tape or masking tape to cover the opening on the sides.

Pros
  • TV ceiling and wall mounts
Cons
  • cable is shorter than others
