Review on Kuryakyn 5943 Thresher Handlebar Electronic by Jeff Long

If I could give minus 5 stars I would. As a shop owner and Harley technician, I will be a bit more reluctant to buy parts from Kuryakin. This product does not match the description. It doesn't work with TBW (Throttle By Wire), the case is not only advertised as an all metal case, but it isn't, it's plastic. After less than a month of installation, the internal splines are rounded because they cannot fully engage the twist grip sensor. I installed this on my personal 2016 Road Glide Special and almost ate it when I lost gas in a corner. After charging for towing and investigating the issue, I replaced the twist grip sensor, handlebars and finally the grips and then found the problem. I contacted the seller and got no response other than that the item can no longer be returned. That's $80, which will cost her a pretty penny! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.
