I don't know why these gloves are rated so poorly. Maybe people are waiting for very high quality gloves? Not to say there aren't any. In my opinion, having just bought my second pair in 4 years, I'd say it's a great buy at $24. In terms of quality, this is definitely a $50 or $60 pair of gloves. I bought my original pair from a store called Alley in Chicago and was initially skeptical only because of the flame design as I felt it didn't fit my cafe racer style. You know it's perfect! These gloves in so many words. GREAT! They are lightly padded on the inside but don't interfere with the fit as they actually start to take the shape of your arms (I noticed mine started to do so after my first ride), they should be a little snug because OK. skin stretches! Imagine the sweat, gas, oil and rain these gloves endure well. I was so happy to find these gloves at Revain as I have ridden with some other poor quality gloves. I messed up my original gloves when changing the oil on my bike, which brings me to another point. They're great for working on your bike, just don't fill them with oil (damn it!). You want a durable glove at a really good price? Buy them, want to whine about being too tight or too loose? How about measuring your hand properly? Get them, shut up and enjoy.
