So when I first opened it, it smelled almost like the acrylic sealer I used 5 weeks ago. It was strong enough to fool my body into thinking I could smell the fumes. Gives me mild symptoms of itchy skin, mild dizziness, dry throat. it was so crazy If I panicked, I would probably make my minor symptoms worse. All I did was stay calm and wash the deodorant off my skin, which I applied in a very thin layer and stopped smelling. After 5-8 minutes I felt better. After 48 hours of first opening and use, I checked the smell and the intense smell was about 70% gone. Who didn't bother me like the first time. Applying another thin layer to my arms to see how I react caused a slight itching on the applied inner surfaces of the forearms. The two strongest scents I can detect are beeswax and palo santo. Together 2 give off a strange acrylic smell. It's amazing how mixtures of smells and odors are identical to something toxic/volatile and also how they trick our bodies into thinking about danger. I really wanted to like this product but it causes itching and the smell is not pleasant at all. Expensive for such a disappointing smell. Also, as photos from other reviewers have pointed out, the deodorant tubes barely contain half the product. They cover the clear tubes with large stickers to hide the small amount you receive. So yes, be careful when trying this product. Your other scents aren't like what I want to try, so I'll be looking for another brand of organic deodorant. I hope my review was helpful.
