Thumbs up! best in braces, splints and braces

I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis (as well as Neuropathy, Lupus and Sjogren's Syndrome). That's what I like and appreciate about this brace that I bought for each hand. First, it's light and comfortable, but not obtrusive. If necessary, I can sleep in it without much worry or discomfort. Like most people with rheumatoid arthritis, I like to have my limbs and fingers free when I sleep if at all possible. Not only does it support my thumb joint, which gets incredibly painful, but it's also a great wrist brace; It's not as bulky as any other wrist brace I've had. When I bought it it wasn't for my wrist so I was pleasantly surprised. I can even crochet in it, which was an even bigger surprise! I like that it frees most of my hands and fingers while protecting the specific joints I bought it for. Because it's lightweight neoprene, I don't sweat underneath it even when wrapped up like this or under an electric blanket. . That's convenient; I can wear it and do things without constantly taking it off. TMI. But for my arthritis peeking because most of the hand is free you can even go to the bathroom and wash your hands without much maneuvering. I suggest this if your thumb or wrists are problematic jerks! They're inexpensive, easy to clean, and comfortable (as long as the braces fit).
