Although these shorts appear to be of decent quality for the price, the size chart is completely wrong. I referred to this when purchasing for my daughters and measured both to ensure I ordered the correct size. When they arrived they were much larger than the size chart. This is a general size chart, not related to any specific product. Both of my daughters are 27 inch waists, but a large (maybe even medium) would be a much better choice. These shorts wouldn't even fit on my girls.
