Review on Winegard RP 3000 Elevating Gear by Dee Rawls

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what was needed.

Bought an old Class C. The previous owner was a 'rigger farmer' and the vines were 'fake'. The PVC he used broke. (Don't ask) So I got in and removed the antennas. He used steel (not aluminum) square tubing. Very difficult. He drilled a few holes and bought a new King Controls sensor antenna replacement that came with a bracket. It is not clear to me why the original tubes were not used. Maybe he forgot to lower the antennas. In fact, he didn't use antennas. "Fake" satellite communications. (Do not ask). Long story but I probably don't need it, but the old one was "modified" and I didn't want to risk it. It worked great! Used with the Winegard RP-2900 elevator tube assembly (also purchased from Revain) and works great. With the Internet, Google and Revain, why fake anything?
