This product deserves 5 stars. I wanted to replace the leather binding of a 15+ year old check book that has seen better days. I ordered a black cover and got a triple wallet. No help from supplier on how to get black check book envelope. I took the risk of ordering this brown case and am very satisfied. The skin feels smooth and soft, like nubuck leather. Plenty of space for credit cards and ID. My checkbook fits in easily and a few bills, very few, can be placed under cards and checks. I originally wanted a black check book cover, but it's a fantasy, not a compromise.
