I really like these scents. I personally love sage scents as well as pine scents. Sandalwood is good too. Bay rum was ah. But that is of course subjective. I find the consistency about halfway between what I normally think of as beard oil and beard balm. Which actually works when you get positive results from both worlds. But if you're looking for a pure balm, you might find that it falls short of expectations. As for the grip, I find it makes the beard more manageable but seems to offer little grip. Great if you're not looking for a ton of retention, not so great if you are. What it lacks in support it makes up for in climate control and handling. Both flavors are excellent for me. All in all I like them a lot and will most likely save a few full size jars of the flavors I prefer.
