I bought the Maytag M400 because my Sunbeam steam iron broke completely after years of use. I'm glad I bought the Maytag steamer. I really like that about the iron. It is easy to fill with the small water dispenser that comes with the iron. It clicks, letting me know it's firmly closed. It has an indicator light to let me know when it's ready to use, and it heats up in 60 seconds. Those little cat-beard creases on the shirts, the iron straightens them out with steam straight away. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I can't easily tell if the temperature dial is under the little arrow since it's right under the Maytag M400's grip. On the handle, the vapor preference sensor is too close to where I have to grab the handle and it bumps right into my hand and I have a small hand. The water tank is not transparent and makes work difficult. to see how much water is actually in the tank. Although I seem to have some water left in the tank after ironing on 3 pants and 6 shirts. Haven't used the self cleaning option yet as I've only used it 4 times. So far I love the Maytag M400 and recommend it to anyone who needs a good steam iron.
