The reason I chose this particular cable was the strength of the cable (at least visually). A nice long sheath on the cable to avoid creating a break between the plug and the cable. Now that sheath has failed and the cable is beginning to wear out. I've had the cable since the failure and use it every day between multiple devices so it's been used more than other cables I've had but expected it to last 7+ months.
