Solid - perfect for my home command center

Well, I've read a ton of other reviews on this and other products. For context, the setup I did (and was able to do) was to connect two laptops to two Dell D6000 docks with a USB/KM switch on two docks to allow me to switch between keyboard, mouse and webcam could. etc. between two computers at the push of a button and this setup was perfect. The table I have cannot support the weight of the huge stand plus (4) monitors. I bought two of these to install two monitors on each computer. To be honest, the setup was pretty easy. You'll find, and I think other reviewers have pointed out, that if you're like me the monitors will be a solid foot from the wall and there's nothing you can do about it, at least with these 22" monitors. If If you are using two very large monitors you might need to slide the brackets back to position them side by side but as you will see in the pictures this took me to set up I don't care about the expansion distance to the wall I got the setup I wanted Somehow I was able to do the install myself. Use a stud finder if possible, otherwise I used 16 OC from the white board above and above from the electrics below. Lines cross, no problem. When installing, try to line them up completely , but don't worry if they don't line up as you can adjust the left/right rotation of the monitors a bit k if this is a problem. Using the drill in one hand, with the other I attached the bracket to the wall plane from above, then scraped out three holes so I knew where to drill. Drill the pilot holes and then install the screws and fasteners in place. After a while I had to use a ratchet to nail it down and get it to the wall as the punch/drill just couldn't go on. Make sure the fastener reaches the wall and is a good fit. The snap bolts were perfect, luckily I nailed my pilot holes so that all (3) holes for each bracket were right on the bolt (thank goodness). Generally very, very strong. I made a few minor adjustments to the monitor's tension screws. The cable management for the mounts was pretty nifty, for everything else I have yet to tie all the cables together, but I can wall mount my docks and laptops so we'll see. All in all, you'll be glad you got this. I work a lot in IT and was wondering if I needed a painted plywood backing on my wall and it's totally unnecessary. Overall great gear and I'm very happy to have my dream rig.
