This review is for the 3m BIFALE 8K DisplayPort 1.4 Cable. I really wanted to like this cable. If the listing image showing the construction of the cable is correct then this cable has a very impressive use of materials and construction. Unfortunately, this cable has one distinct drawback, and that's the length of the gold DisplayPort connector itself. I'm not referring to the black metal body, just the connector plug. Unfortunately, it's about 1/4 inch too long, so it doesn't fit well in an outlet. I bought three of these cables for use in a multiple monitor system and each cable had the same issue. All ports are at a clear angle. in the sockets so that part of the plug was not fully inserted. Also, the connection was loose. It seemed every bump would pull the cable. One must either switch to the correct short mating length or add latches to the connector.
