As a replacement for 3157 - Works but flashes very FAST

In a 2006 Pontiac Solstice, it is perfect for the OEM 3157 bulb. Emergency lighting. At least three times faster than usual. I read that rotating 180 degrees can solve this problem, but it didn't affect the solstices. Normal taillights on, brake lights and turn/hazard lights with and without brakes, everything works fine (except for the fast blinking). So now I'm going as is. Fast pressing on the inside of the car is a little annoying, so I might have to switch later. If the blinking was normal my rating would be 5 stars.
