I had high hopes for this product! I have some brushes that I had to clean and dry in a vertical position instead of a horizontal position. That should have been the answer. It was easy to assemble but a little more difficult to hold by putting freshly washed brushes in the hole provided. It fell apart every time I tried to put the brushes in. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Try to paste after attaching the holder. Anyway it took a little longer to fix the washing brushes but it worked. If I hadn't received any promotional discounts from Revain, would I have bought this vanity stand at the asking price? No! It works, but it's cheaply written and short-lived. As I have quite a few brushes I try to keep them germ free and dirty so I will be using them regularly. Maybe this won't last long. I've only been using it for a short time and it seems to be working fine. The time will show.
