Just got them out of the way on a 1000 mile motorcycle ride with GoPro. Overall, the extension worked quite well and proved to be very durable. I had some issues with the movement in the ball joint and had to use excessive force to get rid of it. Also, and this was probably my main issue, the metal joint where it connects to the GoPro mounts wasn't cut precisely and was too thick to properly fit most of my mounts. With some he did not mate, with others he threatened a stress fracture. Luckily I found one that works with this, but it really could have used more precisely cut counter-connections. As for durability. this mount is solid. I ended up falling on it with my bike at about 30mph and it didn't break. Even though the GoPro itself broke away from its plastic body, this swing arm extension stayed attached to the metal clip mount I attached it to and only suffered severe abrasion of the metal. It could also be used after the accident.
