Light output was equal to or better than the original. The same shape as the original, etc. The bulbs connect directly to the factory wiring harness. . Pretty complicated installation. This is from a former mechanic. I put the right lens assembly in place, the left assembly on the left. Snug fitting, very tight on the 1st. After 2 weeks the right lens popped out and was hanging on the wires. Read installed it and replaced the platinum clips again. They kept it for about 4 months, then it popped out again, this time the bulb flew out of the lens, fell down somewhere on the street. Do I recommend something like this and if you can add extra reinforcement to keep it from coming loose.
