Since masks have become mandatory in most places, I've been looking for one that won't make me choke or pass out (I almost passed out in this situation at the very beginning in the shop). I've tried different ways and continue to experiment. I've been reaching for one of these masks more often than any other lately. I cut off part of the scarf from one of them (it's too hot for that at the moment) and just use it as a traditional mask. It's breathable, as comfortable as a mask can be (I hardly feel it on me), and allows me to get in and out of shops and public transport without incident. It's also the coolest thing I've tried in such a hot weather. I never wear a mask outside, so I can't comment on running outside in hot weather. When I get home I wash it with antibacterial soap and next time I hang it out to dry. So far so good after many washes and wears. I appreciated feedback from others on the masks and thought I'd give my two cents if it helps anyone else who is having trouble working while wearing a mask. They're relatively cheap per mask, so worth a try. I plan to try a scarf when the weather gets cooler (it fits me just like a headscarf).
