This hat store for teenagers seemed like a good alternative to the small/medium hat store for adults which is too big for my small head . (but I love it). If the sizes advertised were correct then the sizing should fit 7-10 year olds snugly. It fits more than I would expect the smallest child size to fit. Please note that the label on the children's hat says 'one size' as opposed to the adult hat which says 'S/M'. I requested and received a return authorization from The Hat Depot, but between the cost of return shipping and a $2 restocking fee that doesn't leave much of a refund. I can just omit it on principle.
