Review on 👻 Invisible Nylon Zippers Set – Renashed 45pcs for Tailor Sewing Craft in Beige by Autumn Davis
Not nylon so cannot be dyed with Procyon or similar acid dyes
False advertising of '100% nylon'. Obviously the head of the zipper is metal but that is normal and to be expected. Nylon straps made from the material the strap is actually made of are not. Like feathers, wool and silk, nylon is dyed with acid-based dyes. These zippers are not colored so probably made of polyester or something similar. If I could figure out how to get Revain to change the description I would, but it's not an easy option to find. The zips themselves are standard invisible zips and suitable for general use, which is why I'm keeping them.
