It's really fun. I let her play with my child. She's just approaching the age where she'll be alert and reach out for things that move in front of her face. The small storage pouch and included animal information is a nice touch. They had a strange smell when I opened them (maybe where they were stored/shipped from). If I remember correctly, the instructions said not to submerge in water or anything like that. Whatever it was, I ignored it. I put everything in hot, soapy water in the sink. I let them dry on a cloth towel. They dried perfectly and smelled nice afterwards. Although I bought them for myself, I think they would make a great gift for someone else too.
