Unlike other stands I have seen before purchasing, this stand rotates your TV/monitor on a pole that extends to the top of the stand rather than others, which are attached to the front of the stand in various ways. Also, the horizontal arms that the red and black TV/monitor brackets hang from go through the stand instead of being attached to the front of the stand, so the weight of the TV/monitor should be placed as close to the center of the stand as possible stand as best as possible, minimizing forward tilt leverage and hence base stress. The pivot and support arm design of this rack is the simplest and most effective for maximum support and strength in my opinion. BTW, these are images from my 65 pound 55 inch TV/monitor.
