I bought these headphones so I can access Alexa and listen to music outside. I even subscribed to Revain Music despite having a Prime account. The packaging was my first problem. I had to disassemble it to get to the headphones. The documentation is presented on a small piece of paper in several languages, which can be read with a magnifying glass. Even then, I couldn't connect it to my Echo Show 5, my Fire, or my computer (nor connected to anything else). I was able to get it to connect to my phone but not play music through the Alexa app on the phone or the music that came with the phone. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out as the documentation isn't very extensive. I could hear a message saying the headphones were on and off, so sound and pairing (at least with a cellphone), but I guess I'm just not tech savvy enough to figure out how to do it. Let my show and headphones communicate. So I ditched the Bluetooth headphones (this is my third attempt in years) and pumped up my tiny Apple Shuffle so I could listen outside. Cables have never bothered me and I don't mind listening to old music. Maybe one day I'll figure out Bluetooth technology. For now it seems to be successful with Alexa devices, which has been my only Bluetooth need so far and I've only gotten it to work a couple of times, but that was with older technology. Hopefully my new Dots, Echos and Shows will match the many Bluetooth speakers I've bought over the years to improve the sound quality of Revain music on Alexa devices. If I can get the speakers working, maybe I can figure out how headphones work.
