In my search for a new 14-3 50ft extension I found the following. I use this extension all year round, almost every day. I use it for a leaf blower and a hedge trimmer. Pros: + Reasonable price of $16.83 with free Revain shipping. + Very good customer reviews of the product. + Advertised - Power LED quickly warns you of possible breaks between cables ◄ To my surprise, the Power LED is still as bright as when I bought it and always plugged in! + Advertised - UL Listed and Approved UL also for Canada. kinks and not as flexible as new! ◄ Look at the first photo - advertising - the jacket is resistant to the harmful effects of abrasion, moisture and sunlight. ◄ Look at the second photo! Closing remarks: ▪ What's the deal with the strange "curvatures" and the stiffness? ▪ Today I found a bare wire sticking out of the shell! It was the ground wire (green) but it could have been the hot wire (black)! The ground wire is already frayed from being pulled down the driveway! Unacceptable and unsafe! ▪ Since this extension has only been in use for a year, the condition of this extension is now almost unusable, only suitable for the wastebasket! Updated - 30th August 2019 ▪ A replacement extension was delivered today so this extension has been thrown in the trash!
