Review on Canon PowerShot A1400 Digital Camera (OLD MODEL) - 16.0 MP, 5x Zoom, 28mm Lens, 720p HD Video - Black by Vanessa Knipp

ALL I WANTED IS A VIDEOFINDER at a reasonable price, but.

When the lens of my good old Kodak "EasyShare" camera was constantly stuck open and I had to change the whole camera, I realized with horror that everything is simple these days and cheap cameras no longer offer a viewfinder in addition to the screen . I knew from experience that a viewfinder is very important, especially when shooting in bright sunlight, so I settled on an inexpensive camera that had both a viewfinder and a screen. None of the local stores, from Walmart to the big photo center, had anything I wanted, so I went online. After reading many comments and finally agreeing on this, I found it MUCH more complicated than I wanted or needed. I'm still struggling with the hard-to-follow "instructions" I found online and printed out. (I don't need to be told not to sit on it and throw it in the water. But rotating the screen back to vertical would help - apparently I accidentally did something that rotated it a quarter turn to the left!. ) Obviously the reviewers who wrote that this model is simple and easy to use are much more tech savvy than me. hail) and teenage grandchildren play with it and then ask them to teach me a lesson!
