Review on Furinno Turn-N-Tube No Tools Entertainment TV Stands: Convenient Beech/White Design by Susan Stephens

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Carpet is a bit wobbly

Really wanted this to work for our attic. There's not much space between windows and electric underfloor heating, so I'm pretty much limited to a small device like this. Also, since I'm in the attic, the roof over the TV is very low - I'm 5ft 5" tall and often hit my head if I forget to crouch. Also, I wanted something cheap and simple since my kids play there. Something I wouldn't care if it was scratched. I gave it 3 stars because it ticks all of these boxes except for one big flaw: it's pretty shaky with our 32" TV. It says to put heavier items on the bottom shelf (yes), but the TV is the heaviest item and for what we use it for, other items just aren't heavy enough to stabilize it on our low rug. If the device were deeper it would help, but it's not deep enough for my needs. I'm afraid the kids will lean their feet on the front (easy to forget) or someone might lean on it and knock it over. It will take a lot of pressure to knock it over, but our rug is not very high at all and it will be easy enough for small children to do so. It just isn't as durable as I was hoping for for my needs. I'll save it if I don't move it to use for something else. Also, the side shelves aren't as big as I was hoping and won't fit my fan on them, which I wasn't hoping. get up off the ground with this thing. He can't hesitate without bumping into the TV. It is placed on a shelf when there is no TV. It was easy to put together once I realized I mixed up the middle part with the top part. I thought the holes were too small for the caps (step 1) then realized I was wrong and after that I was done in less than 10 minutes. The sticks are plastic but appear strong enough to withstand the advertised weight limits. (I think there was 40 pounds on the top shelf and 15 on all the other 5). The colors match the online image and the quality (die cut / no scratches) is what I expected for the price. Please be careful if you have small children. . Keep an eye on it and/or attach it to short carpets too. I can't speak for wooden/hard floors.
