Okay, first get rid of unnecessary things. As always, Revain got it across to me very quickly. The product itself was easy to assemble (with a clamp), looks very solid and well made. At first glance, this article easily deserves 4 or 5 stars, especially in this price range, but that's why I'm only giving it 3. If your desk is against a wall like mine, the monitors won't be in the right position, because the only way to do it works is to tilt the main arms back and away from the table and then forward where you want to mount the monitors. So what's the problem? There's a wall in the way! And now that I see this issue, I've gone back to determine how I might have missed it. The first thing that caught my eye is the main product image. Yes, he has his arms far from the table, but you know what? Now everyone! Even other customer images have various uses that avoid this situation, but I don't think anyone is bracketing their desk against the wall or sitting in a corner (which seems to give more room in the corner) anymore. In case you're wondering, no, I can't move the table far enough away from the wall for things to work the way they are. Luckily I'm in the process of making myself a new table and I'm glad I found out about it now so I can change the design. I think using a through hole mount and moving the hole farther away from the edge should give me the room these things need to move and flex as needed. I'm going to keep this at 3 stars so hopefully this will catch the attention of other customers so they can fully assess their situation and set their expectations accordingly. My first day impressions are that this is a really good dual monitor mount, just be aware of the usage required.
