Carlinkit works fine after connecting to Apple Carplay. My problem is that it connects every day. I had to separate it from my car. Turn off my WiFi on my phone and wait a minute. I then connected the device and turned on Wi-Fi on the phone. In most cases the connection was successful, but sometimes I had to repeat the process. My car is a 2018 Mercedes GLE 350. I had problems with iPhone 11 and iPhone 12. I used it for about 2 weeks until I returned it. I'd rather plug in my phone than deal with the connection issues I have several times a day.
