As a larger woman I've always found products like this not to do what they say. I have tried many over the years and I will never buy another trainer other than this one. I am 5'8 235lbs (14/16) and got a XXL. It is snug in the upper midsection but not uncomfortable. I probably could have gone with a 3X but I went down a size. The rest of it sucks everything in and flattens, I am so impressed! I am able to sit without it rolling down, I can move around with no problems, bend over, and I don't feel like anything is going anywhere! The material is like a wet suit and is high quality. There is a stretch but not too much it did take me about 5 minutes to actually get into it but once I did I was fine. I'm very self-conscious about my baby belly and being unable to lose weight in that area under this really helps me feel more comfortable.
