Review on Revlon Cordless Beauty Mirror with Illuminating LED by Kiesha Butler

Doesn't live up to my expectations

If you read the instructions before using this mirror (and I'll admit I'm of that somewhat rare breed) you almost wonder if you should use it at all . So many do's and don'ts. I took my life into my own hands, plugged it in with the included USB cable and my own USB outlet, and started using it. It really heats up. It gets bright, but you have to be close enough to the mirror to get the brightness on your face where you need it. The light is not adjustable - just turns on or off, no settings. The zoom page works well. In fact, if you are an old lady, you can avoid this site and keep your happy illusions intact. At least that was my reaction. However, I need this page to see where my brows went astray. The mirror tilts back and forth, but you have to rotate the whole device, the base and everything around it if you want to switch between the normal side and the zoom side. He has a good, heavy base. A Revlon product in China, but in the information leaflet it refers to Helen of Troy, not Revlon. It's not a bad mirror, but it doesn't live up to my expectations due to the lighting and the need to be so close.
