Purchased May 21, 2015 to increase storage on my old Xbox 360 Arcade. . Remember that Microsoft's system files reserve a significant amount of disk space for work. While physical storage is actually 120GB as advertised, it's not "available" for storage and gaming. This is true for 20GB, 120GB or 1TB hard drives, even on a PC, so don't read these reviews and assume the drives have some sort of bad sector as they just don't true is. To retrieve information from the original drive, simply insert a memory card (up to 2TB) into a free USB slot, open the control panel, access storage, and transfer data to the memory card. Then insert your 120GB hard drive into your Xbox 360 and transfer the data from the memory card to the new hard drive. While terribly slow, it's actually that simple (as long as your Xbox has the latest console updates to support large hard drives and thumb drives). In the end, this item arrived quickly and worked right out of the box. We've been using it heavily for a few months now and haven't encountered any performance issues. Hope that helps.
