I would call the color BLACK CHROME. The tape arrived in a lovely little box (see photo) with plastic shrink wrap protecting the tape. Very easy to remove. In the box were 3 pins and a tool to adjust the links if needed. I wear the big one with men's gloves and it fits perfectly by default. I've had it for three days now and I'm very happy with it. Enough weight to know it's there, but not enough to bother even slightly. The pins made it work to install in just a few seconds. The strap, like most quick release straps, has a small notch at both ends where the pin drop lever is guided. My everyday watch tends to break a bit and hasn't got a single scratch yet, and yesterday I moved a lot of things in the garage and warehouse. This makes it very scratch-resistant. I don't know what kind of "ceramic" it is, but it's tricky. The only concern is something all straps of this type have: a buckle. This is a double fold, press it with one end, then the other. Did. I think I would make the clasp a little heavier/stronger. If there are problems I will update later. But this band is my favorite with my Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. Would I buy again. Note: When using the vertical smartwatch charger, this strap is a bit heavy and may tilt slightly in the stand. Just put something to lift the strap (next to the clasp) behind the kickstand a bit and it charges up nicely. Horizontal has nothing to do with it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Note: the pins mentioned in most other reviews are connector pins, not pins to connect the strap to the watch. The connecting pins hold the links of the band together and also serve to adjust the length of the band.
